AEROSTAR Participates in Art from the Heart Fundraiser
AEROSTAR’s Vice President, Tiffany Seibt, served as co-chair for the fourth annual “Art from the Heart” fundraiser for Mary B. Austin Elementary School’s fine arts program. The event, held February 9th, raised approximately $16,000 for art instruction for all students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. The money also pays for the program’s two art teachers. In addition, proceeds will help fund the Preludes music program, in which musicians from Mobile Symphony teach students in grades 1-5 how to play the violin or cello during school hours.
“Everybody we have called has been very supportive of this event,” Seibt said. “It shows how important it is to our community to keep art in the classroom.”
